Spanish homework, please help!?

So in Spanish we have to do this thing where we can pick a family ( it can be fictional ) and write a few sentences about each person. I picked the Jetsons … I think I have an Okay idea, but I need some help! ( this homework requires us to pretend this is our family ) So far…I have:George Jetson - Mi papa tiene treinte y ocho anos. Mi papa se llama George. El trabajo Spacely Space Rockets. Mi papa es muy comico.
Basically, what I was trying to convey there was My dad is 38 years old. His name is George. He works at Spacely Space Rockets. He is very funny.
I’m thinking that I may be a bit redundant by says Mi papa a lot, and i’m not sure if that is O.K or not? Also, am I conveying this right, or is there somethings I should change to make this make sense? I also have to do a few sentences on the rest of the family as well, I need new things to talk about besides what I have already said for the father ( I.E age, work, etc. ) I need to add some variety. Could someone give me an example of how I would say other things? Thanks for your help! Oh, also, I understand I don’t have the apostrophe’s and marks a bove the correct places in my Spanish sentences, i’m not sure how to do that, also if someone could help me out with that. Thanks again!

George Jetson:
Mi papá tiene treintiocho (or: treinta y ocho) años. Mi papá se llama George. Él trabaja en Spacely Space Rockets. Mi papá es muy gracioso (cómico is correct, but you use it more when talking about comedians).

Yes, it’s a little redundant. You can just say:

George Jetson:
Mi papá tiene treintiocho años, se llama George y trabaja en Spacely Space Rockets. Él es muy gracioso.
_____

For the rest of the family you may use:

* He/she studies at…: Estudia en…
* I study at…: Estudio en…

* He/she loves to…: Le encanta…
* I love to…: Me encanta…

…etc. There is a long list of things you can describe. This is just some little guidelines.

    Umm, I wouldn’t know what to say about the Jetsons but I would be able to translate for you if you post up your sentences

    George Jetson-
    Mi papá se llama George Jetson y es muy cómico. El tiene treinta y ocho años y trabaja en Spacely Space Rockets. (El has an "acento" on the "E" but I can’t type it on here)

    I agree with you, it does sound redundant to say Mi papa every time you refer to him, I would use articles instead. Also, I would start by saying the person’s name and features, then qualities

    Mi papá se llama George. EL tiene TREINTA y ocho años y es muy gracioso (or you can still say "comico"). El es ingeniero y trabaja en Spacely Space Rockets.

    (notice I added that he is an engineer before specifying his workplace)

    When describing your mom, after saying that she doesn’t work "Ella no tabaja" you could mention her hobbies, "a ella le gusta <infinitive verb> (cocinar, ir de compras, cantar, leer). Could be something like "Ella no trabaja pero le gusta" (if you put them together in one sentence, no need to say ELLA twice).

    For your sister, you’d say that she goes to school "Mi hermana tiene X años y va a la escuela secundaria." Mentioning her hobbies works too, and you could add some hobbies not as verbs but rather as nouns to make it a bit different than before "A ella le gustan la musica y las peliculas, y cuando tiene tiempo libre.." and then add some infinitive verbs " va de compras o a bailar". (She likes music and movies, and when she has free time she goes shopping or dancing). You could also say that she has a boyfriend "Ella tiene novio" and his name and how you feel about him and why you feel that way about him "se llama John Doe y me cae bien/mal porque es simpatico/antipático".

    I hope this helps you.

    As for the accents, you can try copying these á é í ó ú or you can get them by pressing/holding Alt and a code number and then release Alt:

    160 for á
    130 for é
    161 for í
    162 for ó
    163 for ú

    Good luck!

    instead of using papa u can use el
    i dont know who the jetsons are so idk any examples
    but for the acsent marks theres two rules
    #1 words that end in a vowels are pronounced with stress on the second to last syable

    ( oh if u want to know a cool ass way to remeber vowels sing a,e,i,o,u,el berro sabe mas que tu lol)

    # 2
    words that end in a constant exept n and s are prononced with stress on the last syable.
