How much money can i get for spanish The Rosetta Stone for PC?

I don’t have the box or anything. Just the CDs

It depends.

Is rosetta stone a good tool to help me prepare for a clep test in spanish?

I want to clep a college spanish class and was wondering if rosetta stone would prepare me for the test. Will it teach me all the rules of grammar, sentence structure, or anyhting else I might need. Would it be better to simply buy a textbook?

don’t count onit… rosetta stone is to learn a language in a specific sequence.
I found it somewhat helpful, but you’re better off fiding a spanish/english dictionary

Learn German or Spanish at an Online College?

Do you know any colleges where I can learn German, or if not, Spanish online? If it helps, I live in the Bay Area, California.
I already do learn German and Spanish online, and in fact I speak German now. I’m looking to get actual college credits-online-if possible.

I don’t know of any colleges in your area, but if you’re looking for some free Spanish resources to get you started, look at MindZeit.com which includes links to Destinos Spanish, BBC Spanish courses, and more.

Most of the links include audio and many include video resources.

If you have the wish, it will be not a tough to learn reading in Spanish. As far as I could grasp you would like valuable on-line sources.
That is the list of some of the well-structured, highly informative, free on-line sources to learn Spanish:

Are there any language schools in Cabo San Jose for those seeking Spanish courses?

Hola! The closest "school" is "se habla la paz" located in la paz city north of cabo (about 2 1/2 hours away). I can highly recommend this school, as I have participated and thought it was the best thing I ever did. La Paz is also a fantastic place to visit. You can also stay with a home family…mine was memorable and the family was so nice.

In cabo/san jose there are several classes that pop up. There are none I know of right now, however I recommend checking the latest copy of the "gringo gazette" (u can access online) as they will advertise when and where. There are also lots of locals who offer their services and advertise in the local hotels.

If you plan to go to cabo/san jose for an extended period of time, then I strongly suggest trying the school. Say hi to Juli for me.

does anyone know of an intensive spanish course in cambridge?

I want to do an intensive course, maybe 4 weeks, to learn spanish in cambridge, does anyone know of any? Thanks!
Cambridge UK.
Thanks but i cant get to grips with the CDs. maybe i just dont have the self disipline, either way i would much prefer an intensive group course…any ideas anyone?

If you did the Rosetta Stone CDs for two or three hours per day, you could get though the whole 3-CD course in 4 weeks, and either learn Spanish fairly well or fry your brain.

Which Cambridge, BTW? UK? MA? NZ?

How difficult is it to learn conversational Spanish? And long does it take to become proficient?

I’m planning on taking elementary Spanish courses at a local community college.

In addition, as time allows, consider getting a part time job at a Mexican Restaurant. Like one night a week. If you are emerged in it, then you will learn it quicker. In addition, you will learn the slang and how to speak and comprehend it as opposed to just learning how to read and write. Also, consider watching a Spanish soap. They are every bit as cheesy in Spanish as they are in English, but it gives you context from which you can try to understand what is being said. They are usually on in the evenings. Pick one and watch it a couple of times a week. I don’t recommend the news shows, as the talk Really fast. Also, avoid the "funny" shows, as it is hard enough to learn a new language, trying to understand the play on words is very hard. I wish you the best of luck.

What is the best spanish course to use on the computer?

I cant decide between Rosetta Stone, Learning Spanish Like Crazy , or Aurolog. I’ve heard great things about all of these programs, but I think Learning Spanish Like Crazy might be the best so far. What do you think?
